The history of Caves Corner stretches back to 1927, when the shop opened as a luggage retailer serving the people of Blackpool. Business thrived, with the shop attracting a diverse clientele: the high-quality goods on sale earned the shop a glowing reputation among locals and tourists alike. As the store’s renown spread throughout the area, the range of stock also grew. In addition to the ever-popular items of luggage, Caves Corner began to supply first-rate accessories and collectables, both for work and leisure. This wider choice of elegant yet affordable goods appealed to an even broader cross-section of Fylde people, making the shop an ideal place to buy presents for loved ones. Brother-and-sister team David and Wendy have run the shop for nearly 25 years, and in that time have continued and enhanced the tradition which made the shop so popular in the first place. The shop’s range of stock has expanded yet further, now including beautiful collectables from the world-famous Robert Harrop range.
